Reasons Behind AngularJS being better than Javascript

We all know about the Javascript framework out there which was developed in 2009.
7 years since then, Angular has gone through innumerable changes and its scope of usage has just broken the boundaries.
Having the basic knowledge of the framework myself and having used it in my projects , i have found it much simple than our traditional JS.
But can we replace JS with angular. Lets read some more about the reasons behind the success.
