How many web analytics tools are using within your business? One or two or more?
In a recent survey done among various online marketers like agencies, consultancies and vendors regarding how many web analytics tools they were using within their business, all are using more than one tool for measuring analytics. The answer from more than 50% is ‘two’. Majority are using a paid tool along with Google Analytics. A notable number from the remaining is using Google Analytics exclusively as it always gives unfailing results.
The situation poses some interesting questions
Is it a good idea or not?
Why going for another since analytics tool is free and it does some things better than the system the company already has in place?
Before reaching a conclusion consider the fact two different tools inevitably show varied results. Which one you believe? It is better to go ahead with the one, which reciprocates reliable results!! Will a person having two watches could tell the right time? Nope!
If you have different views, please…..
Thanks
