Google search suggest gets sponsored listings!

Now sponsored listing will appear on the new Google feature . This post you how it will appear with your search query. Is it a good move or testing the patience of searcher?

Well this might be music to the ears of marketers but to me as a user it sounds sour. Google would be making their interface cluttered and their results will no longer be unbiased.

Google I guess is chasing dollars here in times of recession, and they are chasing by compromising. Thumbs down to this Google caprice.

Well, it appears to still be a test within the now-removed-from-beta Search Suggest, so I'll wait on making any final decisions on this. Here's a clip from Danny Sullivan's post "" over at .

He also has a number of screen caps of the different variations being tested. Top, bottom, headline-only, full ad copy-they are all apparently being tested.

They have also been testing ads in Google Finance and possibly Google News.
