Google Faces Trademark Lawsuit Over Selling Keywords

Postby asha » Mon Apr 06, 2009 5:02 am

Google is facing trademark infringement lawsuit for selling keywords that trigger ads. The case was filed by a computer repair company for selling their trademarked keywords to their competitors. PPC advertisers are more keen on this .
Also, yesterday Google (Yahoo!) was criticized by media baron Rupert Murdoch for stealing news & copyrights.

Rupert Murdoch is incredibly ignorant when it comes to the online world, in my opinion. He believes that online news will soon be pay-per-subcription or view, and people would 'pay handsomely' for it.

Apparently he is completely oblivious to those outlets that have tried this and are not faring any better financially.

Those who don't pay his sites will simply go elsewhere for their news.
