Conversion Code Myths and Same Color affects

Postby DJ » Tue May 06, 2008 12:22 pm

I’m not sure where the belief started that colour affects the ability to measure conversions with conversion code. As long as code is readable on the page, it is fine. Colour is used more of less to blend it in with the page to give the page a unified feel.

With that, I discovered an error last night and corrected this morning. If you were to place conversion code from another account into a new one (and its the same) then its going to report the conversions on the orginal account. All conversion code in Google Adwords needs to be unique to that account.

If you have questions about this, please feel free to ask me.
