Well, I have a few minutes to kill (waiting for client to join gotomeeting) so I thought I’d share some other KEY Adwords info I have found really interesting…

1) Dynamic keyword Insertion- http://www.redflymarketing.com/blog/dyn ... ate-guide/
2) SEO and PPC- http://www.redflymarketing.com/blog/seo ... ase-study/
3) SEO and PPC Join hands- This is something I have been noticing for a while http://www.redflymarketing.com/blog/seo ... e-friends/. I also wrote on my own blog about this http://www.createonlinebusiness.com/wor ... per-click/

I know we are all sooooooo busy. That said, we should never be too busy to increase our knowledge base.

Call me crazy, but I am obsessed with becoming a master of what I do. My only problem is I work and play in a lot of different areas of IM :).

Purely driven by passion.

Your IM Teammate,

I relate to your sentiments 1000% Rob.

Here are some importand updates Google has rolled out the past couple of days.

Google has i belive has gone live with the real time quality score algorithm for adwords. Which means just like page rank it ll be calculated for every query that triggers an ad. Which means quality score will not remain a constant figure calculated once in a whle but will continue to reflect the dynamics of the quality indicators. http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/018253.html

The next update is Google site stats is no longer mandotry. This is from the horses mouth http://adwords.google.com/support/bin/a ... nswer=9675

Thanks for that Nitin.

If you ask me this quality score business is nothing but a massive cash grab for Google.

Most people that use AdWords will have a very hard time figuring out the "how to" for a "great" rating. In the meantime you'll just have to bid allot higher to get reasonable ad placements.

This move probably represents hundreds of billions in additional revenue for the PPC giant.

We cant blame them Rob. Almost all companies are going into self preservation mode. HP lays off 25000, so does other business'. Most stock analyst had predicted before this years financial results that Google will declare a very nominal dividends. Google very surprisingly proved them wrong. But next year is going to be a different story. Google is at a stage where the overheads have caught up with the revenues. And the gap is closing very fast. Data centers, electricity bills storage spaces....and most importantly pay packages. This month in tune with the financial crises Google has stopped fresh recruitment.
But analyst and most stock holder remain very optimistic about the giant simply because as i was reading an financial report from NY times. Google has monetized only 7% of their net property either because to monetize the remaining will take further overhead or Google does not know how to integrate the remaining properties into their business model.
