Why You Shouldn’t Focus on Keyword Density in Blog Posts

In the past, one of the primary tasks for SEO was keyword research. Before you wrote a single piece of content, launched a website, picked a domain or even named a business, you would have to perform keyword research. You would need to scour the existing market for other sites targeting the keyword you wanted, and find keywords with low competition but high traffic. Over the past few years, it was growing increasingly hard to find any keyword without at least two competing businesses, even in low traffic niches.

Finally, and thankfully, Google has put a stop to that practice. No longer is your content determined by your keywords. The days of keyword density measurements and exact match targeting are past, and the Internet is better for it.
