I found this article very interesting. This might be helpful for those who are concentrating more on G+ to get high SERP.

What to believe?? Matt Cutt said that +1s and rankings are not related....But many industry leading SEO agencies and professional claimed that Google+ is one factor of better SERP..

Read the story here : http://searchenginewatch.com/article/22 ... er-Ranking

A million of Google+ may not help you get there - Google's 1st page..!!!
If you make compelling content, people will link to it, like it, share it on Facebook, +1 it, etc...Rather than chasing +1s of content, your time is much better spent making great content...!!!

There is no shortcut to SEO, it need research, effort and content made for people(not for bots ;-) )......And ofcourse, Google need to love it :D

Thanks Sreelal,

Its such a true condition that we are not able to correlate the Google+ and SERP .Another article from moz "Amazing Correlation Between Google +1s and Higher Search Rankings " tells like this After Page Authority, a URL's number of Google +1s is more highly correlated with search rankings than any other factor. In fact, the correlation of Google +1s beat out other well known metrics including linking root domains, Facebook shares, and even keyword usage.

The results after a scientific correlation study by Moz
