Google indexes text from scanned files

Postby asha » Tue Nov 04, 2008 6:23 am

Now googlebot can catch texts from scanned documents.
Google started indexing texts of scanned documents saved as PDF files by using OCR (Optical character reading) technology. If the site has PDF features, then those scanned URL's will be converted to links, a few more links to the credit of the site. Now we are skipping PDF urls from on page SEOing. Does this mean need we include it in our onpage seo task?
