After Snapchat, Instagram too develops 'Stories'

Ok so we have reached a point where Social Media and Information needs it own category. Its growing faster than anything and this is where you can put information you have found, articles, and things you would like to share. One knowledge base pointing to all things Social Media!

After Snapchat, Instagram too develops 'Stories'

News from the world of social media as Instagram is following the footsteps of Snapchat with ‘disappearing’ stories.
Evidently, Instagram is piggyback riding on the success of Snapchat stories with the addition of a ‘stories’ column themselves.
Their reasoning is that they want to take the pressure off people to post only their 'absolute best' as they would otherwise do. Hence with the addition stories, they’d now be able to post a lot more.
One succinct difference would be that unlike Snapchat, Instagram has decided to NOT monetize it (yet?).
