YouTube is one of the most popular video sharing sites in vogue. This popularity that YouTube has gained over a period of years, has enhanced the marketing value to a great extent. YouTube is an interesting beast to varying degrees: a search engine, a hosting service, an advertising platform, a social network, and a community site.

Video sharing through YouTube is a good offpage promotion of course. But the Industry and business type matters a lot. People normally depend videos for information and entertainment. The article says that there is only a very less percentage of people who search for banking and insurance in YouTube.
