How social media can hurt your career

I guess it was 5 or 6 months ago, when another story did the rounds. A job applicant had an interview with a company the
following morning. He sent some tweets speaking about the company and some not so very good comments on what he was expecting at the interview.

Guess What!

His interviewer saw his tweets. To make a long story short, he didn't get that job, was grilled and was blacklisted among many other major companies.

Moral of Story: Don't underestimate the power of web 2.0

It's a good way to measure profile and there is no way to manipulate the posted data.

Whether it be digg, facebook or any other social networking sites it's a good feature to view the activities in which a particular user was indulged in.

it's also an advantage for those who have made good involvement in social media activities for years.
