Google+ Local App Killed Due to Extremely Low Usage

Google has closed and streamlines many of their products this year, including the most controversial closure of Google Reader earlier this month. Google will officially retire the Google+ Local app for iOS on August 7.

I wonder why they still holding Orkut ;-) . I dont think that there is a come back for Orkut, since Google is focusing on Google Plus as its social n/w platform and promoting it as the rivalry to Facebook.
