Social media is also a helpful human resources tool because it can be used to target users of a specific demographic. This can be done on Facebook by simply creating job posting ads or writing status updates on business pages. Twitter can also provide employers and recruiters with an easy way to get to know a prospective employee better by going through the tweets he/she posts. Additionally, Twitter also allows businesses the opportunity to promote events and company news.
