Yahoo! Web Analytics to be Discontinued.

Even though YAnalytics data ie ex IndexTools is not utilized by many (since it requires access through Consultant Network) its quite surprising to hear that they will discontinue their Web Analytics platform. They have officially started to send out mails stating the end of their analytics services to their impacted customers.

Starting August 31, 2012, existing Yahoo Web Analytics projects will become “read-only,” with access to view historical data for two months. On October 31, 2012, all Yahoo! Web Analytics projects scheduled for discontinuation will be shut down for use, including the discontinuation of the Yahoo! Web Analytics Consultant Network for all users. RIP YAnalytics ! -
