Will the new FTC laws affect our process?

Here is an interview that helps us get to know more about FTC's revised advertising guidelines that to be implemented from December 1 2009 onwards. In it on new internet marketing, blogging and affiliate advertising guidelines.

Checked out the FTC guidelines again this week and here is what another marketer says.

If you are selling to customers in USA, whether you are from India or Canada, the FTC rules apply to you. It is best to add a disclaimer if you are promoting someone else's product.
Something like "The above link is a sponsored advertisement."

If you haven't used the product yourself you might want to add something like:
"The owner of this website is not a bona fide user of ProductA being recommended".
