There is some great content at Google Univeristy on Conversion that both internet marketing but the comapny as a whole should read. It will help us to design pages with conversions in mind which will ad tremendous value to our clients as we move forward.

Adam --- this article is fantastic in not only outlining the purpose of web analytics:

"Web Analytics is the measurement, collection, analysis and reporting of Internet data for the purposes of understanding and optimizing Web usage."

This definition gives a good indication of the capabilities – and limitations – of web analytics. Because, as important as it is to use "quantitative Internet data to optimize websites and web marketing initiatives", web analytics is even more powerful when used in conjunction with other kinds of information.

Why dont you summarize what the main items it says about conversion so we can discuss some of the items it discusses? :D
