This was a great read, really worth to experiment for our client too. Moreover, an online marketing expert shared few more conversion optimization tips on comment section. Have a look on below included Takeshi's points too.

Hope this helps to complete your CRO list.

1) Trust Seals – People will only buy products from your site if they trust it, and trust seals can help do that. Experiment with putting them not only on your checkout pages but on your category & product pages as well.

2) User Reviews – User reviews help increase conversions by allowing visitors to find out what other people think about a product. It’s also a form of social proof: if your site has hundreds of reviews, that means hundreds of other people have made purchases from you.

3) Phone # & Address – Put these on every page. These help to increase trust as well as make it super easy for customers to reach out to you if they have a question. If you make these difficult to find, users will just give up and leave your site.

4) Social Buttons – These are not a surefire way of increasing conversions, and can slow a site down, but if you have a strong social media presence these can serve as social proof, and also make your products easier to share which can lead to new customers.

5) Multiple Product Images – Similar to large images, people like seeing what a product looks like from multiple angles and what it looks like when it’s being used. The one thing online shopping lacks compared to shopping in the real world is tactile feedback, and having lots of images helps to make up for that.

6) Testimonials – Depends on the type of product you are selling, but user testimonials can help increase conversion through social proof

7) Money Back Guarantee – Again this helps with trust, first time shoppers are more likely to take the leap if they know they can get their money back with no hassle

8) Sales – Web shoppers are discount hunters, especially when another site selling the same product is just a click away. Lure users to shop at your site by offering limited-time discounts and sales. Feature any current promotion prominently.

9) Site Speed – By now everyone knows how Amazon study that showed that conversion rate drops for every 0.1 seconds the user has to wait for your page to load. This is even more true for mobile connections, which are often slower than broadband.

10) Mobile Site – Speaking of mobile, if you don’t have a site that is optimized for mobile browsing, you are shooting yourself in the foot when it comes to conversions.

11) Auto Fill Checkout – If the user enters their ZIP code, you should be able to automatically pull in their city and country info. Less typing for the user, especially on mobile.

Also, for free shipping, be sure to make it clear how much more the user has to spend to receive the free shipping. This will increase average order value as people add more products so that they qualify for the shipping.
