Over the years personally i have found two item that are critical for me personally and professionally.
a.) Email
b.) Files, it can be any type from doc to excel, html to psd depending on what you need most where and when.

After the issues that i have concerning, windows cashes, hard disk failure, data recovery and umpteen email restorations i finally decided to move to for email and after 3 years, i must say it has been one of the best decision i made. I never had to worry about losing my email or for that matter accessing it as and when required.

Now having covered the first part well covered for, the next one was to find a a solution for my files. I have tried hard disk mirroring, backing to external hard disk but most times i have been let down by either of this. The main factor being accessibility which makes online storage solutions tempting. This concept has been around for some years now but i never fancied it, cost was one factor, uploading files was another factor. But now when i look at it more carefully the advantages that it gives for the price spend makes it a lot desirable. The service has improved and the price has come down.
1. Secure storage with backups
2. File version System
3. On the go accessibility
4. Collaboration & sharing.

So am i game for it? YES, i am going to start using either or Choosing is going to be hard as SugarSync has some good features but on teh flip side GoogleDrive is much more economical. For those of you who want to read more on this can check out the following links
