The next major update is on for the jQuery developers jQuery 1.8

In the above link, update notes are given which could be understood by the advanced developers.

Anyway all jQuery developers can download and work more effectively with jQuery library :D

jQuery 2.0

jQuery 2.0 has been released.

The most highlighting news is that it has dropped its support for old browsers (IE 6/7/8), reduced size and improved custom build feature.

If we require our jQuery code to support these old browsers we need to stick to 1.9 version itself.
