yeah, it looks good. would be good for long tailed queries.
Google always has ways to pamper users. That's how they work I guess. They wine you, dine you and then
ask you to pay, which we do, because they are good.

Good move. More than search box size increase, liked the increase in the font size for search box as well as auto suggest.
I have never encountered a situation where google asks for payment other than advertisement related services.
Of course if we want to make more money using them, we should also give them a share.

Why would they do such a thing? Here are some reasons that I think they would!
- people are becoming more sopshisticated with their searching. That means longer tail searches!
- people are using bigger monitors and resolution is getting better so there is more space on most peoples screens for bigger text and boxes!

Anyway it still wonders us why ....?
Why it's becoming a overtone in the .com industry even if G increases it's search box size or add dot to their site even if there are no functional changes.
Why such an impact is not created when done by other major sites?
Just a thought !

Its a common phenomina that people are reluctant for changes. This is mainly because of the lack of positive attitude. They just think on their situation as it is. Not opening eyes to the coming future.
