Hey Latha,

This is actually very interesting to see. When I was in school a classmate failed the usability course developing a site the same way.

The Teachers argument was there was too much happening on the screen and the user wouldn't understand how they got to where they are. Since the person isn't intentionally navigating the site, it was less likely they could repeat their actions.

Sometimes innovation actually ruins the user experience.

Yeah it's not overly user friendly. There is little point in not clicking. Especially when the world is all so used to clicking. Why not go with what they know?

Reminds me of those advertising agencies here in town who try too hard to be "edgy" and "cool".
