This is awesome. They got their images to load only when you scroll down to them. This probably means that the page loads faster because there is less to process from the start.

We should definitely be looking into this!

The images gets loaded and is replaced with a grey image once the page is opened in browser. when we scroll then the grey image is replaced withe the original image using ajax request.

Which means we are not getting any performance benefit rather extra burden?
