Mozilla released Firefox 8 browser for Windows, Mac, Linux and Android, an update with a great emphasis on security, especially for loading graphics and third-party apps and add-ons.

Its a good news for the Firefox lovers as Mozilla makes major releases very often now. Even though many web developers has changed their default browsers from Firefox to Chrome, Firefox still has its hold with some unique features. Its claimed that Firefox 8 is 20% faster than Firefox 5 which equals Chrome 14. Hope Mozilla will come up with more improvements.
What is new in Firefox 9

Very soon since the release of version 8 they have released version 9.
What is new in that?
* 20-30% performance boost for JavaScript - Good news for JS programmers
* Css font-stretch property
* New Css text-overflow support
