Google has introduced new translation technology into Google Reader that converts a given feed into any language.
To use the new offering, just subscribe to a feed and then select “Translate into my language” from “Feed settings…” The feed will then be translated into your default language.
I doubt that any given translation will be perfect, but it might just enable you to make some sense of a foreign blog or news feed. This could be quite useful if you plan to enter a foreign market or a market dominated by foreign language companies. Or if you simply wish to understand what people in other countries are saying about something topical.
