Interesting to note that while our traffic levels are lower overall, the click thru rate on one shopping account in particular is fantastic and even double the regular search traffic in some campaigns. But we lack conversions here.
This may be a great area to test out mobile-specific landing pages on mobile subdomains (http:// m.domain.com) in order to increase interactivity, as it may come down to page structure when viewed through a mobile device.
Testing this out on one client's account. They have a nice amount of traffic on mobile devices, CTR that is higher than standard devices, and CPC is about the same, even lower in one case. They are marketing to the UK and Australia, two nations with considerable numbers of mobile network users, so creating a separate mobile campaign seemed appropriate for them.
