This case clearly indicates Google's efforts in battling Spams and Link farms, and for natural link builders like us its is a positive sign as the search engine results are definitely getting better and better. Google has been refining their search for quite some time and this time they are making great progress by fighting Spam, Content duplications, Low quality sites and Link Farms.

Even though there has been wide spread rumors that Google favors sites that have included their advertising program - through JCPenney.com they have also made it clear that just running a Google paid advertisement does not help a sites ranking.
