A Landing page is the web page that visitors arrive at after they click the link on a search engine results page. Here are some tips to create a good landing page.

Good stuff.

One thing I'd like to add... they say put no links on the page, but this is an SEO issue I've been mentioning. Great landing pages might get links, and if it has no linking to the rest of the site that link value won't be passed into your general site structure.

What I've usually done when making landing pages is to put a very small home link in one corner. It's easy to downplay it and monitor in analytics to see whether it's pulling clicks away from your primary CTA.

Beyond that I agree with the general idea of not having any links to pull people away from the primary action you want them to take.
