Completely Remove WordPress Generator Tag Without a Plugin

Here we all are using Wordpress sites. I would like to share a post regarding our site security.

Wordpress normally adds generator meta tag to the header of every page, it includes the WordPress version number used. If we are running an old Wordpress version with known vulnerabilities, It might be unwise to display this information to the public. So if we don’t advertise what version of Wordpress we are using, it will be a little more secure. So by hiding this information become a bit harder for a cracker to know which vulnerabilities to use.

We can completely remove the WordPress generator meta tag from the header section of our WordPress Website's source and from our feed. Also we can remove other default tags generated in the header of your WordPress Website.
