This is a really cool site that offers tons of super easy tutorials and videos for learning lots of stuff to do with web design, development, mobile dev and related skills.

The basic subscription is $25 a month. My wife has been really enjoying it and I was going to learn some rails soon.

Along the same lines there is Tuts+ Premium, which looks like it goes into some more advanced stuff. I've been thinking of trying it out.
